Chaga is a black, burl-like fungus found primarily on birch trees, though it is sometimes found on American hop hornbeam. All of our chaga is harvested from birch trees because some of its medicinal elements require betulin to be transformed into orally bioavailable compounds. Native people traditionally used chaga to treat a plethora of problems, including cancer, tuberculosis, liver diseases, worms, stomach issues, ulcers, and general aches or pains.*

Chaga (dried; ground)
All of our chaga is 100% wild harvested in Maine. No preservatives, flavorings, coloring. No gluten, no caffeine, no dyes. Pure Maine.
Our customers have two primarily uses for ground chaga. They will make their own chaga tea with it (instructions included with each order we ship), or they will add a tablespoon to their coffee grinder or coffee basket when they brew their coffee.
This product is also available in powder form, often used to make tinctures, or convenient tea bags for easy use at home, work, or while traveling.
